Es un maestro en el Violin. Ha colaborado con Squirrel Nut Zippers, My Morning Jacket, Final Fantasy. Este disco no recuerda mucho a sus primeros trabajos en Bowl of Fire, mucho mas swing y jazzerones. Los silbidos que suenan como theremin, guitarras sobre todo acusticas, vibrafonos, rhodes, samples, arreglos orquestales muy buenos. Armonias a la Beach Boys, hints de Flaming Lips, Elliott Smith, Beatles en su etapa Revolver, la voz que recuerda a Rufus Wainwright. Se notan las influencias clasicas, sobre todo en composicion y jazz en el approach. Suena folkish, con buenas canciones. Pero le falta algo. No se que tanto se pudieran sostener las canciones sin los arreglos.
